Someone on a video games forum who does not even know i have AS called me "Rainman" because i noticed a small detail in something and sometimes i go on about the same kind of topics or get obssesed over a certain thng

Does that mean i am actually as bad as 'Rainman' 8O

Or am i taking what he said too seriously. :?

I think you're taking it too seriously and it sounded like a joke that person did.

Remember in Miss Congeniality the man asks this woman what be her perfect date and she takes the question literal? In the next scene she is upset and says she answered it like Rainman.

Correct the other person.
I am sure they meant to call you "perceptive". If they don't agree with the correction call them "ignorant".

Rainman was based on several people. In a way, he paid you a COMPLIMENT! He did it based on very laudable aspects of rainman, outside of the obsessive nature, anyway.

He paid you a compliment, at least I think anyway. It's people like the Rainman who want to make me develop my talents and skills even more. Another example is Einstein.
