Is it part of having aspergers to have either impulsive thoughts or impulses or both?Since I was wondering if this is an impulsive issue when an autistic/aspergers person gets excited gets up and walks, or flaps hands.

When walking, yes. With flapping hands, not sure. With me it's not such an impulse. I do it without noticing sometimes and other times I'm too aware of it. But I'm impulsive when I speak and in making decisions. But then I got ADHD too. I've accumulated so much crap from my impulsive spending.

I can relate to impulse spending. I have had to stop doing that---especially with the more expensive things. My buying of HO scale models was getting out of hand. I've had to quit looking at the online model railroad store. I had also got impulsive a few years ago and started buying Halloween decorations until I have enough to literally fill an amusement park funhouse.
