needles hurt like hell. somebody needs to invent a replacement for such. somebody needs to invent a way to turn pain off like a light switch, or at least to turn the pain knob from "11" down to 2 or so.

There are drugs, like Vicodin, which are fairly effective. There's also Emla cream which can be applied before an injection. But you have to have a doctor to prescribe them. I agree that needles hurt like hell!
