I was playing around with the power of suggestion, being the skeptic that I am. I was trying to get someone's attention in the hair salon so using my Jedi mind powers I tried to get her to turn around and a few seconds later she did. Now, maybe she saw this little midget with the most ghastly hair and wide demanding eyes staring at her from the mirror, or maybe it just did work.

I have had dreams that came true but they were uneventful. I've had about 6 end of world type of dreams in the same month.
I've been having a lot of dreams about owning a dog, so fingers crossed they become real.

That's not how morphic resonance works. I do not know whats in every unopened box on earth. I can say for certain I have experienced resonance at various times.

Could it be that you don't know either?

It takes a flying leap of faith to go from "I'm too ignorant to know how they do that" to "They must be psychic!"

Isn't it enough to watch the pretty little birdies fly without imagining that they have psychic abilities too?

Let's say I'm in a room with three hundred people and they all see someone put something in a box, then close the lid. I have a blindfold on and see nothing. My chances of knowing what's in the box increases depending on how many people witness what was put in there.

Then how does it "work"? If it "works" at all, that is.

(BTW: "That's not how ________ works" is a cop-out for every alleged psychic I've ever tested.)

Technically they are responding to morphic fields. Humans use the word "psychic" to describe a myriad of unexplained phenomena.

"Thinking outside the box" is the new buzz-phrase that alleged psychics employ instead "Keep an open mind" - neither means anything, especially in the light of the fact that you have provided no valid material evidence to support the claim that psychic abilities are real. You can remedy this failing, however, if you stop playing these juvenile word-games and tell me...

As a living being, why would you not generate a field?

Several dozen people participated in the packing of one box? Still that's not enough to influence the collective conscious with grandiose ideas. Has to be an entire civilization progressing, like the ancient Egyptians.
