Does anyone know of any good programs that could help adults with Asperger's get a diagnosis and guidance? I am unemployed, so it would have to be a free program. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Go to PyschologyToday and look under find a therapist, you can search by location. If you search around online, you can find websites that allow you to communicate with doctors, and get diagnosis, but those usually have a fee of $25. Pertaining to the therapist: I'm uncertain of the cost, I'm sure you could work something out since you're unemployed.

You might want to check with DARS to see if they have any resources.

Dallas aspie here... I don't know of any good resources for counseling or for other support in the area, but I'm sure there is something around DFW. There are enough of us here, that there must be resources. I live part time in California, so that's where I have my therapist.
