I find it a lot easier to communicate on a forum than in real life, is that what you are asking?

I find it easier to communicate on a forum than in real life, and at least the people here understand where I'm coming from, but (if I've understood your question correctly) some people on here communicate very well, and some fail (in my opinion) to express themselves clearly enough that they make any sense at all. I'd say more people make sense on here than on a lot of other forums, but there are people whose posts I just skip, because trying to figure out what they meant to say is just too much work. (No, I'm not naming names. They may well be doing their best. I'm just answering what seems to be your question by agreeing that, yes, some people don't make much sense.)

I would like to imagine I communicate well on here :P I also find it much much easier to communicate through writing rather than verbally, as I can take my time to write out what I want to say, proofread it, and make sure that it both sounds good and makes sense. Not to say I'm terrible at communicating verbally, but it is usually a lot more difficult for me to get a specific point of concept across (partially because in a conversation you can't really press pause for a minute to plan what you would like to say haha).

I communicate better on here, and online in general, than I do in real life.

What Stargazer43 said.

Also, in person, if I talk too long or misjudge when to speak, the conversation suffers. Online, I'm not interrupting anybody, and anyone who thinks my posts are too long can skip or skim them without offending me (or even making me aware of it).

If you're uncertain if you're getting your point across, just ask. People around here are pretty cool, so they'll help you to clarify. Also, if you think you've done okay but someone still doesn't understand, that person will ask for clarification or otherwise indicate a lack of understanding. Don't let that rattle you. It's okay, and nobody's upset with you. Just try again, and don't get too frustrated with yourself - even if you sometimes have to make several attempts. That's all right. You can be yourself around here, and people will accept you as you are. That's what I've found.

Good question. Ive been here for a while and I dont feel familiar. I prefer rl conversations because I can see who Im dealing with and how the person is responding, naturally. I feel pressure to write correct sentences and puh.. I dont know. Its just not as easy-going as rl. Maybe the deal about writing is that you have the time to reconsider it all before posting, cause thats the main opposite to rl. But I still often dont correct my posts. Too lazy... or something?

I don't stutter, show people that it takes me +10 minutes to respond to something and no one is cutting me off mid sentence.
I love it here.

Written communication is always better for me than verbal.

It's even better here because most people aren't trying to find stuff between the lines that doesn't exist.

I find communication on WP much easier than other forums because everyone is so straightforward and says what they mean; it's awesome to be able to converse with people who talk in the same way I do.
