Wake up. Let dogs out. Take a shower. Check email. Arrive at work 20 minutes late. Work for a while. Take a long lunch by going home to let my dogs out. Head back to work and make sure I hit my 8 hour minimum. Go home. Maybe get food on the way home. Let the dogs out. Kill time until bed at 1 am by suring the net, doing stuff around the house, porn, or playing WoW. Go to sleep next to my 2 dogs.
Rinse, lather, and repeat for 5-7 days a week. Occassionally, I will use some of the down time after work or the weekends to go exercise, but not as much as I should.

On my days off, I run errands instead of working all day. I may go in for a few hours anyways since I get paid by the hour and usually have work I can do.

College day:
- Wake up before alarm. Go to toilet because of nerves. Go back to bed. Doze for a few minutes. Get up before alarm goes off to avoid actually hearing the alarm.
- Turn laptop on. Pee again. Wash face. Put socks on.
- Check certain websites - part of my routine is that I'm not "allowed" to check the news or Youtube before ...
- ... making a cup of tea. Whilst tea is brewing, get guinea pig food out of fridge. Put milk in tea. Take tea and guinea pig food upstairs. Feed guinea pigs. Go back on laptop. Check news and Youtube.
- Get dressed. Take medication. Pack bag. Go to college.
- Endure college. Eat lunch. Go back to college or, on a bad day, play hooky and go to the library in town.
- Get bus home. Change into pyjama trousers. Make cup of tea. Take tea upstairs and use laptop.
- Let guinea pigs out to play. Feed guinea pigs. Change water, clean cage, top up hay and pellets. Shoo guinea pigs back into cage.
- Turn lamp on. Turn laptop off. Change into pyjamas. Brush teeth. Wash face. Pee. Play DS in bed.
- Turn DS off. Pee again. Take medication. Turn lamp off.
- Sleep.

-Wake up
-Turn on my computer
-Get some food for the rest of the day
-Use the computer
-Learn some economics on the computer
-Learn some mathematics on the computer
-Look up random information/do random things
-Turn off the computer
-Go to sleep

I can't break this routine. I tried reading, tried doing other things, but I inevitably end up following this routine.

You stole most of my routine!

Get up, turn on pc, check all my usual websites, get food (usually the same thing as yesterday if I am having a run on something food wise), put the documentary channels on the tv in the back ground, spend more time on pc checking my usual sites, check my OU website, do some studying/look things up (maths, geology, earth sciences), surf various sites, check my usual websites, get food, nip up local shop if I really must otherwise skip it, spend more time studying and looking things up on the pc, check usual sites, go to bed, try to sleep, check websites again, then try to sleep again, fall asleep, get up the next day and repeat....

I've tried to break it as well but it rarely works. Also I tend to sleep most of the day and stay up for most of the night...I seem to be stuck in that cycle right now. I think I should have been nocturnal!

Get up, get on the computer, take a break or two to eat, get off the computer, and go to bed.

Non-Work Day

- Wake up around 8:30-9:00AM to pee, go back to bed
- Wake up around 10:30-11:00AM, pee again
- Carry my computer out into the living room and set up my 'area'
- Get a drink and maybe something to snack on while I'm at my computer
- Sit at the computer and visit my usual sites, do some research, maybe watch a show or movie, repeat
- Family gets home, so go in my room to take a nap
- Wake up, repeat the computer stuff from earlier, all the way until 4/5/6AM (insomniac)
- Go to bed

Work Day

- Wake up at whatever time will allow me 1.5 hours to shower, get dressed, let dog out, and browse on my computer
- Leave for work/Work/Leave work
- Go to boyfriend's house if he isn't working, where I will browse on my computer or we will watch a movie together
OR
- Go home if boyfriend is working. Pick up dinner on way home.
- Eat dinner.
- Retreat to bedroom where I will probably take a nap.
- Wake up
- Do routine browsing, research, movie watching on computer until 4/5/6AM
- Go to bed

On days that I don't work and will not be going anywhere or seeing anyone, I usually don't shower or change my clothes. I typically only eat once, maybe twice a day, usually later in the day/evening.

I thought about sharing, but, wow, just the idea of typing out my current day to day routine depresses me. Maybe later.

As it is now, there's not much I really do other than taking garbage out every week. Used to wish I didn't have to do anything, but now I'd do anything to get a job or be able to afford college. :/

On a school day (daughter's school that is):
get up at 7.40, eat breakfast and get self ready
plead with my daughter to get ready, walk her to school
come home, make cup of tea, switch on computer and washing machine, mess about on WP for a while
have some lunch, do some housework
collect daughter from school,
come home and play/ do homework or take her to after school class and chat with other mums
make dinner, eat dinner
mess about on WP while husband plays with daughter, get daughter settled for bed
watch TV with husband, shower and bed by about 11pm

But today was exciting. I had a course in school about talking to your child about growing up, puberty, etc and I went to the theatre tonight to see Zach Braff's new play. 8)

Morning starts when the alarm goes off (7:00 alarm for 7:24 up)

Put on kettle.
Let out cat.
Wake up oldest kids.
Bathroom and deodorant.
Wake up youngest.
Make tea and coffee back to bed for 10 minutes and drink coffee.
Get dressed, wake up wife.
Re-wake up oldest kids.
Check youngest dressed.
Make bed (wife is normally in the bathroom)
Get laptop, iPad, phone, wallet, keys together (this takes a lot of time if I have misplaced the keys)
Get youngest school things together, books, fruit, pe kit and water bottle.
Quick check e-mail, messages.
Re-Check I have laptop bag, lanyard, phone and wallet. (if anything missing, I have to take everything out and start again)
Leave house with wife and youngest.
Drop one off at school.
Drop wife at work.
Drive to office.
(work chaos)

That morning order is quite ritualised, I didn't realise how much so till I wrote it down.. I am far less ritualised in the office thankfully, although actually routine would be helpful.

My night time routine is pretty weird, i normally go to bed with wife but i listen to audio books and chew gum in a half asleep doze (I have listened to some audio book chapters in excess of 400 times), I tend to go downstairs after a couple of hours and sleep on the sofa with the cat and the audio books (no tv or anything), wake up at 3:30 and return to bed, some nights I hardly sleep at all. It's more or less a long snooze.

Weekday - Up by 5am no later than 5:40. Quick scan of news, ride bicycle to work, At work ~quarter to 7am. - try to keep busy till 4. ride home, then to store. Come home and eat, read news and other intersting stuff.

Weekend up before 7am (11 hours sleep) If Ice skating rinks open then ride to rink and practice figure skating, ride home and work on list of things that never get finished. Work on bicycyles, build electronics, maybe some computer programming, learning state laws and/or ....

Everyday - spend atleast 5 hours day dreaming. .. . .. ask myself a few dozen times - why am I so different that everyone I meet.

End of everyday - work ideas in to my head for dreams, then have 30 to 40 dreams - atleast 3 will wake me up.

Very little changes from day to day or month month. Over ten years something change - jobs, where I live and hobbies...

What I want to do - type everything in precise order with times down to every drink, cigarrette, shower, food item, specifically for each day  But I shall attempt to summarise as even I can see that nobody would want to read that!

Weekdays I set my alarm for 6.30 but get up between 7.00 and 7.15. This still allows me plenty of time to get my daughter to school but I am useless in the mornings and we are usually late. Usually this is because I watch the breakfast news and get distracted watching an article that I am particularly interested in, or decide to start doing something I don't need to do before school and underestimate how long it will take me or some such nonsense.

I do the morning and afternoon school run. I am deliberately slightly late in the afternoon to avoid waiting on a crowded playground, but am there before the teachers go in.

In between the school runs (6 hours) I usually spend about an hour or two napping, about two-three hours doing housework, about an hour eating and watching TV and up to two hours (if left) doing any shopping that needs doing (or pottering about the library or bookshop and having coffee). The exception to this is on a Monday and Tuesday when I do voluntary work for this time instead.

Once I have picked my daughter up from school I do any shopping I didn't have time to do earlier on the way home. When I get in I finish off any housework that still needs doing. She does her homework and I help her if she needs me to.

I spend the rest of the evening watching TV (up to 3 hours) and on the internet (until about 1am). Sometimes I read a book, but I tend to devour them in an evening so they don't last long.

I see my friends most Friday evenings and sometimes on a Sunday afternoon and on the last Saturday of the month we go out together.

At the weekend I have a lie in, the latest I get up is 11.00 but usually it is between 9.00 and 10.00. I sometimes take my daughter to her swimming lesson on Saturday morning. Sometimes we go out as a family somewhere at the weekend, sometimes we don't. We tend to go out more in the summer when the weather is better as parks are free!

I will probably be on WP less soon as I am going to be doing a short correspondence course for 10 weeks starting at the beginning of March.
