Longstanding obsessions (in no order):

- Music and its history, especially the more underground, esoteric varieties
- Fantasy and Imagination
- Virtual Reality
- Chaos
- Spirals
- Human Anatomy
- Trees (especially very gnarled and twisty ones)
- Patterns in nature (such as in rocks, plants, water, cloudforms)
- RPGs (both table-top and computer-based)
- Mythology and Folklore
- Ruins and castles
- Imaginative art in all its forms
- Otherworldly / mythic beings
- Dreams and lucid dreaming
- Cthulhu / H.P. Lovecraft

Current / Recent (within a few years):

- Metal (music) in all its many varieties. This will probably become permanent...
- Blind Guardian
- Fates Warning
- Bathory (the band, not the historical figure)
- Spiders
- Vikings
- Nordic / Scandinavian mythology, folklore and history

I suppose that's enough for now...

EDIT: Oh I nearly forgot one very important obsession!:
- Gathering information on the internet about all my obsessions

Did you enjoy it?

Loved it; I'd always wanted to see Salvador Dali paintings in person. 8)

I myself managed to stand several metres away from the real Mona Lisa and admire it (in the Louvre, which is HUGE). The Mona Lisa is rather small.

My obsessions vary widely..

in no order:

1) Collecting music
2) Lingerie
3) Asperger's Syndrome
4) Poker & Poker odds
5) Blackjack strategies
6) Websites / Programming
7) Girlfriend finding

Recently made a computer program to play Blackjack for me. I want to make another for poker and have it run some tests. I am pretty certain I can make a genetic algorithm find a winning strategy. Or recording how people bet when they are bluffing, for pattern matching.

cute, that likes me.

WHOA, Cap'n crunch was a HACKER? I always thought he was just a PHREAKER! Records
indicate he was only a phreaker, and that IS how he got his name. He used a whistle
found in Cap'n Crunch to phreak. BTW I think he started phreaking, but I KNOW he
didn't start hacking!
