Yes that interesting to see things I wrote mentioned on another site :)

I read that adrafinil which is metabolized to modafinil can take days to build up levels
of modafinil in the blood. My own testing seems to confirm that. You need to take it
a number of days to get the full effect.

Provigil does work a little for some users.

Provigil is not caffeine; caffeine is not Provigil.

Caffeine has a different molecular structure than Provigil. For me, caffeine works better than Provigil.

I was on it for chemobrain (and probably will be again when I go back on chemo). I didn't get anxiety, but I got really bad vertigo. I'm not sure if that's just because of how the medicine is or if my naturally poor proprioception made me susceptible. It worked on the brain fog. I was more alert and could get through my work.
