Yeah of course. that's why I put it here. This is pretty close to how I sometimes feel.
And quite near to the mistakes I'd make and symptoms I'd show.

I have read something about working memory
and I thought from the beginning that would fit for example also stress,
sensory overloads and anxiety.

There are lots of studies out there on the effects of glucocorticoids and stress on memory and the hippocampus. I think much more research needs to be done, though, because I have suffered from severe OCD/anxiety my whole life and I have a photographic memory. Some aspects of my working memory are poor (mostly with numbers, quickly switching tasks, and having to remember information auditorily), but I see no correlation with anxiety in my case. Rather, it's just executive functioning deficits/NVLD.

Yeah I think that, too, that there are shortcomings of memory generally.
And I'd see this as a reason that many aspies would easily suffer from anxiety.

That sort of "Memory full: Help!" symptoms. Maybe it is also the control of the memory that is impaired with aspies.
