A: One; if it involved working with other people, sitting in the dark would be preferable.

In the OP, it also sounds like a Nerd joke.

Being a nerd myself <-----

Not about Nerds, but here is my own
joke I made up years ago, it may since
have been made up by someone else.

Where do sailors use the restroom?

Q: How many Aspies does it take to change a light bulb?

A: None! don't change the bulb, I've been waiting 2 years for it to burn out so I can replace the fixture!

(obscure, I know, but 8 out of ten bulbs have burned out and I have 2 left to go, then I can replace the fixture I don't like)

How many Aspies does it take to change a lightbulb?

Why would I change it? How would I go about doing this? Are we referring to some sense of the kantian lightbulb itself, or an odd metaspiritual definition? What if I argue that the lightbulb already "is", and as such does not need modification? How would you define a lightbulb? What does it mean to "be" a lightbulb? Does it want to be changed?

What would I change it into? Where would the effort/energy to perform this operation come from? How can I express this mathematically? Why's it so dark in here?

A: None. We make the neurotypicals do it.

Q: How many people with Asperger's does it take to change a lightbulb?

A: None. We don't need to change any lightbulb. We are the lightbulb.

LOL, the first one! I did laugh.

haha. don't know whether what you said was meant to be a joke or dry remark on society but it made me laugh.

How many aspies does it take to change a lightbulb?

About as many as it takes to make up a good joke on the spot, i.e., seven more than me:
  • One to establish the fitting and voltage,
  • one to compile a report investigating the pros and cons of 60 watt and 100 watt units,
  • One to arrange the formatting of the report with nice little bullet points
  • one to prepare the route to the hardware shop twenty-four hours in advance,
  • one to melt down in B&Q and return empty-handed,
  • one to design and construct a bran new bulb,
  • one to hoard the burnt out bulbs and,
  • oh s**t, one to make sure the light switch is in the off position

How many aspergers does it take to change a lightbulb?

Q: How many people with asperger's syndrome does it take to change a light bulb?

A: (5)
One to notice that things look very dark.
Another to notice the bulb.
Another to change the bulb.
Another to notice that there's light again, and finally,
the 5th Aspie noticed that the 4 other Aspies had been in the room the whole time - hadn't noticed them before.
