Maybe we should reevaluate this entire situation?

Why should we talk if there's nothing important or relevant to say?
Why should we be strongly motivated to engage in a world that is chaotic and racing towards extinction?
Could our challenge be we have genes/brain-paths from ancestors that have conflicting learned behaviors & cultures and are thus often frozen in place, not knowing which way to proceed?
Since all people are both gifted and challenged, how would we fare if society dwelled on our gifts instead of our "challenges," which appear to be viewed an inability to behave like the majority of people (whoever they are.)
Are we really lonely or do we think we should be lonely because we are so often alone?
Are we social outcasts or courageous and steadfast individualists?
Does anyone else recall a time when you realized this world is a wondrous place except that mankind is messing is up in every way possible, so you ask your parents "Why?" and not only do they not have an answer but they are terrified by the question?
Does anyone else recall asking or saying something perfectly rational and relevant and getting only a dumbfounded stare in return?

I agree with most of these things-----when the mood strikes me.

Other times, I find these views rather pessimistic.

Those would seem to me to be reasonable responses, based on circumstances. What is wondrous to me is that you relate to most of the perceptions. Already I feel less isolated.

Yes, especially when I was a child. I was maybe six when I started realizing the grownups who were supposed to be wise and in control, really weren't. :)

Scary, wasn't it? And then we freak out and they think, "My child is freaking out for no reason."
