From CNN.com:

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Music/0 ... index.html

"Bacharach-Dickinson daughter commits suicide"

"Nikki Bacharach, daughter of Burt Bacharach and Angie Dickinson, committed suicide, the songwriter and actress said in a statement Friday.

Nikki Bacharach, 40, suffered from Asperger's Disorder, a form of autism. She killed herself Thursday night at her condo, said Linda Dozoretz, a spokeswoman for the family."

----------------

Nikki, from one Aspie to another, may you find the peace up and out there that you and many of us down here could never find.

:( We all must remember though, that this is a very tragic and unfortuante loss, for society as a whole, and especially for the aspie community like ourselves. We should really be aware of what or condition means to us, what it can cause up to feel, and most importantly, never to give up hope, even when all the odds are against us. It's fairly easy to write this off as just "news", but it's a very sad and unfortunate occurance that we must always bear in mind at all times.
