Teens react to Boxxy:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NrEdmmwq26Y

Pretty horrifying, the stereotypes and attitudes they spout off.

I am guessing the reason nobody replied to your thread is you need to embed the video on the page not just link to it.

I tried to do it for you

Guess the embed feature is not working.

Why don't you link to the original video too? I couldn't tell what they were talking about, as I haven't seen the original "boxxy" and a quick search on youtube didn't uncover it.

I don't see what the big deal was, some silly kid being silly on the internet...and other kids acting like its so terribly weird and threatening. What am I supposed to get out of it that stupid kids will be stupid kids on the internet?

Here's the original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOExl5doR2A

Something's off with her. I don't think it's Asperger's. Tourette's maybe? I've only seen a Tourette's person in the Undateables TV show from the UK.

Another option is ADHD. But I think she's too extreme for that. I'm going to stick with Tourette's.

It works. All you have to do is remove the "s" from "https", like this:

See?

Boxxy is exxagerating her personality to appear like that. See 'Manic Pixie Girl' article on tvtropes.

The fact that Boxxy is faking is irrelevant. What upsets me is that these kids would be scared of someone who naturally acted that way - even though someone like that (probably would be ADHD) would be weird but not dangerous.

Eh, they're teenagers. They say some bizarre things. I don't think anyone would actually be afraid of Boxxy if she were a real human being. I know people like her IRL, and they tend to be fairly popular and likeable. I wonder whether one of them ever gets any actual sleep, but she's just unusual, not frightening.
