Actually, assuming that the Cost of Living adjustments and differences between rental markets offset each other, the poll results to date yield a fairly interesting result.

$1080.00 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. Hubby is awaiting his green card in El Salvodor so I'm paying everything. This is before bills and utilities. My monthly vehicle payments are 360 a month then my insurance is 150.

I pay £250 a month for a room in a shared flat. I share with 4 other people, and we have a kitchen and bathroom. It's a little pricey I think, but while I'm on benefits I really shouldn't complain. I feel lucky to have found a nice reasonably priced flat, and have friendly flat mates, I would feel very uncomfortable if I lived with people I didn't get on with, because my home is my  sanctuary.
