I didn't know where to post this thread, but I wanted as much input as possible since my situation is bad.

Right now, I'm starting the long process to get medicaid. I had it in the past, but tried to work and lost it. I'm reapplying again, and the process could take six months or even a year, depending on how many times I have to appeal.

What I need to know is this:

Obamacare goes into effect January 2014, yes? So is it true that if I don't have medicaid by then I will be eligible to receive healthcare for all of my chronic health problems? I don't know much about it and due to my ADD it's very difficult for me to sit through a large article on it. If someone has a link that will succinctly give me an overview of Obamacare and what to expect, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance.
