This video is over a year old but I only just came across it by chance. I thought you guys may find it interesting. It's basically about an autistic kid Jake, who has incredible memory and math ability. He also has the ability to retain knowledge and come up with new ideas and understands advanced physics concepts. He basically taught himself all of high school maths in just 2 weeks when he was 8 and by the end of the year, he was at university, doing university level work and acing the classes. Now at 15, he's doing paid research in physics.

Seen before, cool and impressive kid. His parents did a great job of nurturing his special interest and that's great.

The more recent interviews with him he is much more Aspie-like socially.

I'd love to own a jacket like the Psychologist's wearing in the interview, I envy her luck in finding one like that.

Apart from that, I was very moved by the video. The boy is, apart from a genius, so beautiful and nice.

Yes, I like how they nurtured his special interest.

I haven't seen the recent interviews. I'll probably search for them.

Yes, I've since looked it up. Apparently he's been considered for a Nobel Prize.

I wish people supported my special interest for science, I was scoring in the top 99% on the standardized test in science throughout school but other aspects of school killed the interest
