Not as often as I used to, but often enough.

It's such a depleting feeling, I try to make things better only to find I've made them worse. It's usually in connection to relating to people.

I got very frustrated with my boss, tried to talk to him, it was useless. Talked to HR, only to make things worse because the way I talked isn't the way NTs talk. Then I complained about a cashier's treatment at the supermarket (many customers have been complaining about her for years), only to be told "So what, the supermarket has complaints about you too." Then came home and decided to lock myself with my 3 cats till tomorrow, bad day I said, only to find out hours later that one of the cats had slipped outside somehow and had been crying outside for a long time till I heard him. Then I posted what I thought was a very interesting topic on the forums (not this thread), only to get zero replies. I fed the strays early morning so I wouldn't have to after work when I was tired, (they get fed once a day), only for them to beg me for food like crazy after work as well. I feel everything I do is wrong.

You have no idea.

This is the reason why I act like a child and ask if I did things right because even if I trust myself to do it right, there is always some nervous or high-strung person saying differently. Two prime examples are sometimes my girlfriend and my current driving instructor. It's really discouraging.

There are times when I feel like everything I do is wrong so I'd just rather do nothing.

My music didn't take me to my loftier goals.

My writing has been a little better to me.

I'm no where near a winner as compared to what other people my age has accomplished.

I have bad days that are series of screwups from the time that I wake up to the time that I fall asleep, but they go, and good days come.

Only when I have bad days, when I look at where I messed up and why I even exist. After a while, though, the feeling seems to go away.

Yes, some are very much worse than others. Especially the day I fell and broke my humerus, it was definitely a wrong move.

Yes. I just retreat from the world when I feel this way. Eventually I'll get a sense of equilibrium again. :(

In this forum, "Is the invisibility of AS a blessing or a course?"

That happens a lot here to me too, well, I do get replies most of the time but my threads don't seem to live for very long, where as other people's threads sometimes stay on the first page for weeks. Maybe it's because I don't sound very interesting or intelligent.

I always feel like I am doing something wrong. People always side with the NTs. If I ask why a person at work ignores me, the answer is always, ''perhaps they're shy?'' But I'm VERY shy, and I have social phobia, anxiety disorder and Asperger's Syndrome, which are all big factors of one's social communication issues, but my instinct tells me to at least make eye contact and smile to another worker when passing them, and say hello. I don't find that hard, so why should an NT? I thought they would know better.

Also say if I smiled at someone in the street and they glared at me, I bet I would be told ''they were probably having a bad day, you've got to understand that other people have problems too.'' But if I was having a bad day and someone in the street smiled to me and I just glared at them, I bet I would be told, ''that person smiled at you and you just glared. I know you're having a bad day today but you can't bring your temper outside with you and expect everyone to know why.''

UHH! SO FRUSTRATING!! ! Why can't the same rules reply to me as they do everyone else?
