I would start by talking to her about something that's going on in class. That might be something interesting from the lesson, how much you like or don't like the teacher (but don't say that when the teacher can hear you), or something funny that happened in the lesson. The fact that you are both in the lesson is something you instantly have in common, so it is a good place to start getting to know each other.
I know I am not guy, but if you want to know about what girls want, the best people to get advice from are girls! Of course all girls are different, and what works for one may not work for another. But it is always to important to get to know each other a little more as a starting point.
