I've always been the weird and goofy person. Even among other people I could tell have Asphergers. I got on this site to see if I could feel normal. I now feel even more alone. Is that normal for newcomers? Does anyone else feel this way?

Yes, I think it's normal, what you're feeling. You're still new here so give it some time. You'll soon feel right at home. :D

I tried this website when I was first diagnosed, at my psychologist's urging. At first I thought I had nothing in common with people here and didn't come back for years. When I did start on WP again I began to realize that while we deal with many of the same things, we experience them uniquely. The saying which you've probably heard, "When you've seen one case of autism, you've seen one case of autism," also begins to make a lot of sense.
