YES. I will play the same few songs repeatedly until I lose interest. Sometimes I will play the sameness song several time in a row, othertimes I like the feeling of fantasies a certain section of a song elicits and so will play that section repeatedly.

It often happens if I stumble upon a new song and it kind of resonates with me emotionally - I spend a few weeks listening to that song (among others) again and again, and singing it, then I usually have a longer period of avoiding that song for a while.

Oh yeah always. Or a string of songs. Right now it's several Pink Floyd songs over and over - Wish you were here, hey you, comfortably numb, us and them, breathe, leaning to fly, high hopes - always in that order for at least a couple of weeks now.

I am woefully abysmal at remembering song lyrics (possibly a sign of APD?), so listening to a song repeatedly seldom seems repetitive.

Although I would enjoy listening to the same song over & over I have told myself it is not a good thing to do so deliberately won't listen to the same song twice in a row.

I definitely do. Right now, it's the soundtracks from Glee

I have some old Weather Channel tracks on my phone, most of them by an artist named Trammell Starks. A lot of them are on YouTube and this site: http://twcclassics.com/
Ah, nostalgia.

I'll listen to a certain song several times in a row, even if it means just hearing one part again. Then I'll play it over in my head and/or sing the song for hours after.

I use to have to listen to a song over and over, until i was literally sick of it. I no longer listen to music anymore though. Talk radio dominates my listening time now.

I do this with albums, not just a single song. if I like something by a band then I like everything by them and I will consume it all. I've been listening to a Tupac CD for several months in my car. I think it's driving everyone else nuts, and I've tried to listen to other stuff, but I keep coming back to it.
