were born? I know Down's Syndrome is related to parent age.

My mom was 42 and my father was 40, my older siblings don't have AS, although they have OCD and trauma disorders because my father was an alcoholic and was very abusive. (He died when I was 1 so I didn't have to put up with any of it)

My mother was 24 and my Father was 44.

I don't have AS because of my father's age. I have AS because my father is an Aspie.

And his parents, my grandparents, were in their late 20's when they gave birth to my dad.

About 30. As I recall, my mother was about 33, and my father about 31.

My father was 29, my mother was 30. My father had AS traits, one of my uncles was definitely AS, as is my nephew, although, as far as I am aware, undiagnosed. I was diagnosed autistic when I was seven. Looks to be more genetic than age-related.

(data from Israel)

Okay thats the data they make the claims from.

What junk science first note the very important fact only 4296 kid were had fathers 40
and over. But 127,865 kids were born from fathers 39 and under!! !! !! !! !! In other words
a man having kids at 40 is alot less common. Now its unlikely I will ever have kids but
I'm 36 so if I do guess what it may very well be in my 40's and I might be at a greater
risk of producing autisic kids base on my genes not age.

A better study would have compared fathers who had kids at a young age and in old age. (and guess what they would have found NO INCREASE RATE with age)

Oh the "increase rate" the study sees is a large number of austic loner men have kids
at a later age in life (ie we are many years behide in social skills so on average we are
likely to marry and have kids at an older age)

My mother was 17. My father was at a school near her, so he was somewhere between 16 and 21.

My mom was 24 and my dad was 33. I have two brothers who were born when my mom was 34 and 36. They don't have AS. My oldest brother has something going on, I'm not sure what. My mother definitely has something going on, but it isn't AS or anything in the spectrum. She's just a true blue Sociopath. I'll leave you to figure out how that went for the two of us. My dad and the rest of my brothers were NTs. One of my nephews has something, it may be ADHD. I'm not around him that much, so I don't know.

Mom was 39 and Dad was 40...I'm ten years younger than my nearest sibling. In fact my siblings are ten, twelve and sixteen years older than me. Sure, I know I was a "mistake" due to contraceptive failure. I've had a good life, so far, and I hope I wasn't too regretable to my family, even though I'm sure High school and young adulthood were terrible for my mom. I dropped out of school and joined the Navy. There has been little about my life that is conventional from my perspective, even though I have been married for 21 years, I have a wonderful son and an extremely successful career. I won't watch the superbowl and will instead while away the afternoon playing a musical instrument or tackling a project. My politics are liberal and my aesthetics Bohemian. I Mountain Bike and do Yoga. I think Jesus incorporated a lot of Vedic philosophies into what he taught......and that's enough stream of conciousness for now, but it's all borne of the era and age I am a product of.....what a long strange trip, I hope it will continue to be!
