As Aspies would you consider a cold shower for benefits or spirtuality?

I usually shower slightly colder than pleasant.
But showering ice cold... uhh that'd take some getting used to. :P

Only, when it´s very hot and if so, I slowly let the water run colder, so I can get used to it......but the big, icy cold splash? No.

I use to take cold baths all the time as a little kid but my mom started making me take hot baths so I guess I wasn't use to taking cold baths anymore, even the slightest change in temperature nowadays makes me panic.

I really don't enjoy cold showers.

Especially these days, I like my showers almost scalding.

Cold showers are good only for getting wet, waking up, and cooling off. There is no "spiritual" value, unless you count the "spiritual" advantage that cleanliness confers upon a person seeking a job or a date.

I have taken could showers when the hot water ran out. I do it if I have to but it's not my first choice.

I don't know how talking a cold shower could help me with spirituality. I find warm showers much more relaxing but I occasionally take cold 1s like when the hot water runs out, I'm sunburt or have a high fever.

No. It'd have to be hot for me to want a cold shower, and even then I'd only enjoy it for so long. I enjoy cold water in my hair when I have headaches. That's about it.

No, mine are nice and warm. However, on a hot day, I would turn down the temperature to help cool off before finishing.

The only thing remotely spiritual about that would be "Holy s**t! It's cold!"

I think that as an Aspie I would only ever take showers that consisted of warm sunshine and colourful rainbows.

As my own person, I will usually use the cold shower after/before entering the sauna at the swimming baths.

I've also taken a shower under a couple of waterfalls while camping up in the highlands.

Every time I have a shower, it's always about the hygiene benefits.

There is, however, that occasional spiritual moment where I'll break out into the odd Catholic Hymn from time to time. Though I'll often go Sister Act all up on it, and possibly break into a dance number or two. I tend to draw some looks from the other patrons at the baths, but every now and then someone will chime in, usually the older patrons, or some of the leisure staff.

There's a 50/50 chance I'll casually start singing "The Bare Necessities of Life" while doing the back stroke out in the swimming pool.

No. That would be very unpleasant.
