People not listening to or believing you

I hate when that happens, and I hate it even more because most of the times I happen to be right. Y'know, I have a fairly good intuition.

When I was growing up there was no Asperger's of course. My father and I never had a "normal" conversation about anything. He would usually interrupt me, and talk about how I said, what I said. Or how I looked while I was talking. He'd ask me why am I talking about what I was talking about. Everything about me was off-putting for him, and especially how I talked, and what interested me... and his remarks were usually tinged with anger and disrespect.

I don't talk enough to notice. Well, that's not entirely true, I do talk to my schizophrenic mother quite a bit, but that's not really a good metric to use.
