Hello,
I've been writing since I was a child and actually saving everything I wrote. My degree was English in creative writing and I still never shared anything I wrote besides the required work. For me writing has always been something deeply internal and a way for me to love and put reason to the world outside of myself. After a little nudge from others I decided to start compiling and sharing my writing (Alphabetically of course). Keep in mind that it is all specifically from my perspective and how I put reason to everything around me. Also, if you write and make an account to post your writing please friend me. I am very interested in how other people on the spectrum write.
Here is the link.

I just read some of your poetry. Pretty good. I write poetry and short stories myself. They can be found on my blog.

I also write screenplays, novellas and have written one novel, Commoner the Vagabond. My book, a collection of short stories, has been released but I want to release 'Commoner' with a different publisher. (I'm not exactly in love with the one I have now).

Thank you. I will check your blog out. I might not comment but I will definitely read some of your stuff. I never really know what to say. I can apply literary theories to works and deconstruct them but that's just a method to use and I don't want to do that. I will enjoy reading what you wrote though and trying to understand your perspective.

P.S. That is really cool that you have published a book. Doing something like that always seems so alien or magical to me.

My brain does not grasp poetry very well.
But it is good writing, I can tell that much.

Thanks, if you ever write anything let me know and I'll read it. I read obsessively and I enjoy other peoples works as a form of connecting to others. Honestly, my biggest issue was understanding poetry as well when I was in school. My brain thinks too literally and until I hit beat generation poetry which threw all those silly rules out, I was lost. After I discovered beat generation and obsessed over the greats like Charles Bukowski everything became so much easier. Earlier stuff I can now dissect but it still comes with somewhat difficulty.

Thank you. Feel free to check it daily, weekly or monthly. I have written literally hundreds (maybe thousands) of poems since I was in middle school. It took me 3 months to convert them all from paper to digital and now I am putting them online. I try to add some every day but sometimes I can only do it ever few days. Once again thank you. I find it odd that people like it because I've just used it as therapy and a way of understanding my world for the longest time.

Also, if you have anything that you write let me know and I'll read it.

My writing comes out much more organized and collected than my actual speech. I've had a lot of people tell me that I seem much more coherent, although that's mostly because I have a chance to review what I've written down. I will edit what I type over and over until I feel it is concise and I have found the perfect arrangement of words. I tend to write with very formal language, and in my head I sometimes picture it being spoken with an English accent. (Even though I speak with a California accent)

I feel the same way about writing. I can carry on a conversation but my conversations in person always seem to slow, speed up, slow, speed up and get jumped. I'm mean to say one thing but I'll say something similar. It's very frustrating! With writing I can review what I want to say and it is much more coherent as well. I feel good with the fact that it is the same way for someone else with a similar mind. I don't have an accent though but when I am writing I am just describing a mental picture in my head.

Also, if you have anything online that is accessible I'd love to read it.

I am a freelance writer and I am wondering if you have considered publishing your poetry in a book(s). I have published 15 books through a company called smashwords. It is free to publish and you could end up making some extra cash.

I know it can be scary to put you writing out there for people to read, but it is something to consider. I would be glad to help you if you want.

Good Luck and keep writing!

Hi, I just checked out smashwords and I never even knew that had something like that. It's pretty neat. Yes, for me it is scary but in the sense that it's a routine or change to my routine and just looking at the site caused me to be anxious. Having people read what i write isn't too bad but still causes a little anxiety. Luckily, in college people didn't really like my writing so I'm used to being ignored or passed over in classes. Creative writing was a disaster! I was told I was doing things wrong by so many students who just didn't really understand my writing when I had to share. I do think I suffer a bit from low writers self esteem though. I found so many people's writing hackneyed in school and of course a majority of people didn't like mine in the classroom. I always figured I just didn't think like they did.

Anyways, I think it is interesting but much like trying a new food I'm going to have to process the idea of it first before I'm even willing to work towards biting into it. Is there a way I can message you on here or elsewhere if I have any questions or need any guidance?
