Cool. Low-average isn't something they need to diagnose.

I do have dyspraxia but I haven't got a formal dyspraxia diagnosis. I don't need any therapy for it or anything; I'm awfully clumsy, and I couldn't learn to drive when I was sixteen, but I didn't need a dyspraxia diagnosis to get a special driving instructor--my autism diagnosis was enough for that. I was twenty-five when I finally learned.

Even if I do meet criteria for mild dyspraxia, I don't see a reason to have it down on my official record. I get what I need with just autism on there. I might have benefited from physical therapy as a child--I couldn't run without risking losing my balance and couldn't ride a bike until I was 13 years old. But nowadays, I can ride a bike, walk smoothly, and even drive (though it's very mentally exhausting to do).

Seems like you don't need a diagnosis--even if you're somewhat clumsy, it isn't holding you back.

I was diagnosed with it as a kid and I still don't understand how I had it. I know I was clumsy as a kid but when I read about it online, lot of it doesn't fit and I know you don't need all the symptoms for it. My mom said I grew out of it despite it saying it's a lifelong condition.

Me I've shown delayed general, motor development since I was a baby. My occupational therapist diagnosed me with two forms of dyspraxia...learned there is a word for what slow or difficulty how to move different muscles in sequence.
