Oh hello there Sedentarian, I remember seeing you on forums back in November 2013 when I was new and you relatively were too, you had a snowy profile picture.
It is nice to see someone from when I started.
I don't know why.
I recognised you from your cool signature.

Mine was 56 left 44 right. Though I am right handed, use my left a lot. There are left handed relatives in my family. So I wasn't surprised by this score. There are studies which have found that people who use the right side of their brain more than the average person - whatever average is - are much more prone to experience anxiety. And anxiety is a really big issue for me.

When I walk, my left foot leads as the dominant foot, which I think is atypical of right handed people? These tests are very interesting.

L44% R56%

Left handed in that I write and use most one-handed tools and implements with the left, though most two-handed jobs I prefer right handed - playing guitars and eating at a table with others are good examples.

I got 22% left brained, 78% right-brained.

It's a common misconception that the left brain does logic, while the right brain does creativity/intuition; those skills are not restricted to any side of the brain. However, it is true that the right brain is more holistic and spatial than the left brain, and that the left brain handles the production of language.

The explanation of the test makes more sense than the description of characteristics that the results said each hemisphere has.

Have there been any comparisons between aspie and NT scores on this measure?

After this test I remembered reading years ago that alchohol affects the two sides of the brain at different speeds, ie the right side of the brain gets drunk first. This is thought to explain the "disinhibition effect" of alcohol (and also the reason that we become lousy drivers under the influence). Though some of us (like me!!) are not great drivers to begin with!
