I was at the hospital and after talking to the nurse she said "your just like my daughter, you have a Pokemon brain, you gather large amounts of data about one thing"

I'm trying to figure out what Pokemon am I...

I don't see why that has anything to do with Pokemon...

That is an odd remark. Did she mean Pokemon as a "narrow" subject, about which there is a lot of information to gather?

coud she have been generaly refering to the pokedex;the electronic book thing that they use in pokemon that holds ALL pokemon information?
it may be just because it is a very detail/data based game.

wish was called a pokemon to,woud be pleased if was called a high level charizard or a mewtwo.

When I was growing up (8 to 11 years old, 1998 to 2001) it seemed everyone who had a Gameboy had an encyclopaedic knowledge of Pokemon and the Red and Blue games. They knew every Pokemon's name from #1 to #151 as well as what levels they evolve at, where you can find Moon Stones, who Mr. Fuji from Lavender Town is, etc. It was not at all unusual and was even typical of children my age to know so much about Pokemon and I remember adults would just ask my friends (myself included in that group) to explain what Pokemon were and how they worked. We were all "experts."

I guess what she's saying is he has knowledge about a particular thing, or things and talks about them with the same intensity that kids in the late 1990s did about Pokemon.

Like my classmates, I could tell you all about Pokemon (I liked to draw them on the sidewalk with chalk when I was nine, on Saturdays). My interests at the time were endangered cat species and whales.

All I remember is this, which a friend told me recently:

Kinogasse (the one people refer to as Breloom) is better with Technican now.

Pokemon was a special interest of mine between the ages of about six and nine or ten; Charmander was always my favourite because he was so cute :) I sometimes go back and watch old episodes of the original show (didn't like the updated version with all the new characters) and laugh at Team Rocket. James is my favourite human character, I find him hysterical.

you have a brain like the pokedex, with lots and lots of different data and info on one subject?

she could compare you to one too, like mewtwo, that has a very powerful mind. :P

i could never really get into pokemon to be honest, i played leafgreen for a bit, i beat it but i couldn't play it to the fullest, too much data for me. effort values...:drunken:

I wouldn't mind being called a Pokemon! :D I'm hooked on both the games and the manga series.
