Why hasn't a moderator
1. banned the IP user
2. banned the account
3. removed the posts
?

Exactly! I've seen several forums go to complete s**t due to spam getting way out of hand.

I'm very glad they zapped it. The pictures looked cheap and sleazy, and the text was in Russian. The title translates as "dress casino." If only all ads were as unintelligible as that!

Because the spammers are all automated (obviously) and they pop up every half hour.

I trust they're working on a permanent security fix, but I guess it's something you have to put up with. Last night as awful, they filled every forum.
