This is probably going to sound strange, so forgive me. Does anyone else here have a strange, I don't know, mental feeling to due with dates and times? Like for example, for me, when I start a game, I want to start it at a specific time and not at a later time because...I have no idea. Same with dates for starting things, it has to be on a certain date (I'm getting better at this) because it happened on the same date years ago.

It's just this strange paranoia I have and it's been bothering me a lot more lately.

I would presume that is to do with compensation of executive dysfunction. When you make a plan to start at a specific time, you're giving yourself preparation and I suppose motivation to see it through. When you just sit there without the plan you'll probably be stuck doing something and without realizing it, pass too much time and miss the opportunity to do something that isn't distressful.

Or maybe you're just a controlling person. I don't know how to tell the difference.

I think I'm kind of this way? I feel like mine has more to do with the "obsessiveness" we often display though.
For example, I got my driver's permit on a specific day - my half birthday. I don't even have my license yet and a small part of that is due to the fact that I want to get it on a specific day.
