What city has the most 'Aspie' personality? I'd probably say Portland, Oregon or Toronto, Ontario, maybe Seattle too or the cities in New Zealand (the most aspie country?)

Where are you pulling all these cities from?

It would have to be somewhere in Silicon Valley. There's a veritable autism epidemic there due to the gene pool having so many aspies working in all of those tech companies.

From the information that I've gathered, Silicon Valley seems to be the most Aspie.

A city can not be "aspie". An aspie city would be a city that misinterpreted social cues from other cities, and that didn't like making eye contact with neighboring townships.

Manhattan is my personal favorite city in the world, though. You can get anything there, at any time, not to mention the city is practically dripping with history and culture. I love it and want to live there. Whether or not it's autistic though, I can't say, only a trained psychiatrist can make a diagnosis like that.

I know this thread is old but out of experience, I would definitely nominate Tokyo as most of my neighbors here fit into the more common traits of an aspie.

surprised to see someone call nz the 'most aspei country', i live here and have to say i can't see where you would get that impression from. theres a lot of islanders and mahris that'll give u a lot of trouble, and the culture seems very extroverted in general and there's a big drinking culture here.

I thought Aspies didn't like cities anyway, being so crowded and noisy.

Hmm, I was going to say some place in Ontario, especially after noticing so many Aspies posting from there. (and many of them cute female Aspies, but since I am married with kids of course I won't point that out.)

But you guys are right, Silicon Valley, at least for the US. No clue about Japan or India.

I think it was the year 2001 I finally got to take a business trip to the San Jose area and realized what a horrible mistake I made not going to Stanford after being accepted there for graduate school in electrical engineering.

Not really a city, but I'd bet the national academy of science in many countries are small aspie enclaves. Become a great scientist and you shalt find your own type. :D

Yes, universities are also good havens for Aspies. I've sheltered in two of them.
