I cant sleep. im sleepy but i cant sleep. i have to sleep until 6 pm or after 1 am. i live near a bar, and theres are teenagers and adults that just go wooooooooooooo, woooohoooo, and loud laughs in the street, and that made me angry to sleep. because of the low rental price, my parents refuse to leave here, even its noisier than before. i hate that kinda of noise. my windows is closed, my door is closed, i have a thick curtain covering my windows. i have acoustic window and its not enough. its so frustating for me had this schedule because the environment to influence my emotions so badly. im envy of beggar and tramps when i see then sleeping on the street or anywhere. the sun dont affect then, the beep of the cars, people talking or laughing or shouting. nothing wake up then, i wish i was borned like that. now i have to wait until 1am to the bar closes. please give me some motivational messages guys, im feeling terrible :(

Well those people sleeping on the streets are usually on something but I've seen some that have looked mighty comfortable myself knocked out on park benches and what not. Have you tried earplugs? After that the only suggestion besides moving out of there, some sort of substance I guess. Sorry to hear about the noise tho, hopefully it gets better.

many people sleeping on the street are good people who dont use drugs. sometimes they sleep at day because its too cold to sleep at night. yeah i use earplugs, but its not enough, the sound just pass though, the giggles of the drunk people... i dont know... t's been so long that I'm going through this situation, that I'm starting to get more and more sensitive. if was not the rent price... its been half a decade of suffering, i cant help it, i have suicidal thoughts sometimes... moving from here is not that a decision that depends on me, its my father decision, and hes decided to not moving. Im very scared, im too sensible to loud noise, like the door slaming of the cars near my house... its hard to put into words.

maybe try listening to something instead, cover up the noise? Maybe get a lot white noise in the background so you don't notice it as much? Just a couple ideas

Have you tried using whitenoise? Maybe in addition to the earplugs and maybe try some melatonin as well?

I also liked some of these ideas. I have a old, rumbling fan that sits on my bedside table (but it might also work good near a window) and leave it on throughout the night to provide some white noise. Air purifiers running throughout the night near a bed's headboard an also provide a couple of benefits: purify the air and create gentle, constant noise that can drowned out other more bothersome outside noises. Acoustic tiles on the walls or something similar can help diffuse sound. Last but not least, there are heavy curtains/blankets that can be hung with the purpose of absorbing some sounds so that these cannot reach your room. That has really helped me with the traffic noise here.

you had some good suggestion there. i use ceiling fan but just to sleep. when i used on the past, was not enough. i use a fan that is near my door for white noise the whole time(cause the living room door is always opened and some noise from the street came from there too, my parents just dont let me close that door, only in sleep time. only thing that kinda works is a classic old style-earphone along(yes, they are separeted) with a earmuff with very loud music. or a headset with acustic isolation. i listen some very loud music while i play some game or browse. my earmuff model, its kinda bad, cause after few hours of use it start to press my head too much. i use a h9a, im open to sugestions of more confortable ones. this air purifier do more noisy than fans? Acoustic tiles on the walls or something similar can help diffuse sound, that would be the best option but its too expensive. i tried one of that curtains one time and didnt worked for me. I use acoustic glass on my windows, but the glass is too thin! also i feel that even if i removed my whole windows and covered with bricks, the wooooo sounds and laughts cross the walls, believe it or not! i feel that the best option would get me broke, change all the walls, ceiling and my door to acoustic stuff.

Blankets from second hand stores and/or foam padding saved from packages might be a cheaper source of acoustic treatment. That might help soften sound reflections off walls/windows.

Melatonin, mentioned by Noca is a hormone that helps regulate sleep/wake cycles. A lot of foods contain some of it, but there are supplements with a higher amount. It can help make it easier to fall asleep. I don't know how well it works against external distractions like noise though.

I hope something helps for you. Sleep is important.

only i Line up all the walls and ceiling with that blankets to work. but my room would be kinda strange with all that blanket  and too hot. i cant think of anything cheap. custom walls with acoustic treatment are insanely expensive. and theres no assurance if would 100% work with the anoying woohoo lady. if it was not dangerous i would just move to the country side away from neighbors and that inconvenient people.

ah but before i take any hormones, i should let some lab analyse my blood to if theres lack of melatonin on it. i cant just start to swallow hormones suddenly. i guess it should give me like 5% more relaxed againt that distractions maybe.
