I have Asperger's (diagnosed) but I don't know the different types of Aspergers (I still have to learn that).

I have problems with a lot of things that many Aspies seem to be okay with...like threading a needle or tying shoelaces...or being overly and overtly emotionally sensitive.

Sometimes my clumsiness and sensitivity gets so bad, I just cannot move or function and need to just remain in bed.

I also can't seem to relate to other people whatsoever and my narrow interests are getting even narrower...

I guess I have something like Low-Functioning Asperger's or High Functioning Autism...or some animal that lives somewhere between the two.

Diagnosed with Asperger's in 7th grade, although the word had been tossed around between my counselor, therapist, and mom for a couple years before that.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome when I was about 17 years old. But my symptoms are not so similar to typical picture of ASD and I suppose that my sort of autism is not related to Kanner's syndrome (childhood autism) and may be related to schizoprenia or even be a form of it.

I was diagnosed with Aspergers at age 16.

Now I'm closing in on 30.

I feel alone. Everyone either has AS or classic autism.

Mild to moderate autism; with severe-moderate dyspraxia. I had serious speech problems as a child. What I say can come out jumbled.

What's the difference between them? A friend I made at summer camp is PDD. But when I asked what the difference was it didn't seem like anyone was able to give a definitive answer.

high-functioning autism.

I actually think there's a difference between high functioning autism and aspergers.
