Does singing help people with aspergers speak less loudly?

That'd be really cool!

By the way, I speak softly, and carry a big stick.

It never helped me. I'm a trained singer, and my big mouth goes booming across the office as well as the house. I also have problems with tinnitus, no thanks to the years working around pizza ovens without ear protection, as well as the fun I had when I was on antipsychotics with tinnitus.

Sure thing ... as long as we're singing loudly, we're not speaking loudly.
Now let's just hope we're singing on key. :D

I'm sorry you had fun with antipsychotics on tinnitus, how does that work exactly?

It makes life interesting when I'm trying to hear pitch and the loud ringing in my ears start up. I didn't have that problem until a GP put me on Effexor. It really began to give me fits when the psychiatrist cold turkeyed me off Citalopram and put me on Viibryd. That when I started to hear reptiles hissing at me, sounds of leaking gas, loud ringing in my ears a continuous concert A in my ears at all times, and voices telling me to kill myself (which is why my brothers want nothing to do with me nowadays.). Don't even get me started on the physical side effects.
