I was reminded of a song today that fits a specific part of my life...minus the superstar part......:

edit: just noticed that it didn't put the video in. It's "fat Bottom Girls" by Queen.

For most of my life, it has been: Won't Back Down by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

What an amazing album and band. I know every note on that album. Well, not as a musician would.

Believe it or not, they are a special interest along with "The Who" and (I can't believe I'm going to say this openly) "The Monkees."

How's that for a spread?

My mood and outlook when I run out of distractions tends to reflect something like this...

Having outlived all three my wives, and my two sons by the age of 22, even now at age 27 some people still have this image of me...

My hope and outlook when focused on the future...

Listened to this the other day. Been on a loop in my head and on the playlist when I have to go out. It's a recurring theme throughout my life.
