I just want to see where we stand on income. So many have complained about not making much, etc... I figure $14.50USD is about the median average income in the US. $20 is higher than the highest average. I would have loved to have had more selections, but I wanted this to be more private, and less competitive. I am just curious.

I'm suprised. I expected you to have a job for some reason.

My tendency to have issues with people and to live in my own world and also to be too honest have meant no job has lasted long. I haven't worked much anyway. I worked for my father for a time when I was 19. I worked in stage management in the theatre in London for 8 months but had a breakdown. I worked in care with the elderly for 6 months, but was fired with no reason after I told a few people about suspected abuse of residents.

wow, the median average for WHAT?
I just looked at this website for what they pay everyone in Oregon and I don't know what you do to make 14.50 an hour doing? and what are you paying 20.00 an hour FOR?

I've never had a job (unless you count baby-sitting). I'm only eighteen after all. I still have plenty of time to find a job!

What is the minimum age to get a job where you are?

Here in the U.S., the minimum age is 16.

I'm not employed at the moment as a student. Though on my last summer job shelf stacking, I made £5.50 an hour. I think that was then about $10 an hour, as the pound wasn't quite as as strong against the dollar then.

When I am working and not studying I usually earn about £6.50 an hour (warehouse presale clothing markdown) - some places I do stuff I get £10 (fixing computers) but I am rarely needed there.
I sometimes work for friends as well (shovelling stables daily over Christmas), in which case, slightly lower pay doesn't bother me - the advantage of that job was it was me, the cats and horses pretty much alone all of the time.
None of them are 'proper' jobs though, in that I do them for a month stint then come back to uni - after even a month, they really burn me out and I am only able to keep going due to the fact that I know money is coming soon, and that it will end fairly soon.
Also, I do not suffer nearly as much around people as some of you here - I am able to get along with anyone on the surface, and since I keep myself to myself, thats generally all people will see of me.
