I'm feeling really alone lately and I don't know what to do about it. I rarely leave my house and the idea of going out and meeting new people scares the crap out of me but I hate sitting here not having anyone to talk to either. I don't get my official Asperger's testing for about another month but I'm positive I have it, I just can't get any counseling or help until I have that test. I'm hoping that will help me get my mind right so I can get a friend or two. A girlfriend might be too much to hope for.

I don't know, I just needed to vent.

Welcome to the Forum.

I used to watch "Gomer Pyle, USMC" when I was a kid.

The name comes from that, but not directly. I look like the character in the movie Full Metal Jacket that was called Private Pyle. Of course, his name came from Gomer Pyle.

Hope it gets better soon, feeling alone really sucks. Welcome aboard, with a bit of luck you'll get enough online social support here to keep you afloat while you get to understand your condition in depth and get working on some coping strategies. I'm sure a lot of us here can relate to what you're going through.
