Can someone give me real life examples of one thing about yourself that you know is aspergers or autism that wouldn't be so hard between regular people? I can't seem to get my family to see that they're not dealing with a normal person when they talk to me. I get into fights with my mom and I don't even know we're fighting until my mom is on the verge of tears. I just thought we were talking and I don't even know what triggered the fight. So when I ask my mom to go over the fight with me she gets mad because she says it would just turn into another fight. She doesn't seem to believe me when I say I don't know what happened. Now I can't figure it out so I can write it down and try to avoid it in the future.

Examples like that.

You guys say NT, I'm new, what is that?

NT stands for "neurotypical" - it's commonly used here to mean "people who aren't on the ASD spectrum". Another term you may or may not know in use here is "OP" which stands for an Opening Post in a thread, or the poster who opens a thread.
