Atmospheric ionisation, mist/fog/cool, damp conditions, darkness, silence, cooking.
Plus I still think its weird that I find watching soccer relaxing.

Rain, strong winds, looking out on the sea, train travel. Airports, train stations, hotels.

I wish I could travel from place to place constantly.

As long as a hotel has ice machines (or a fridge), I'm okay.

In my other post I forgot to put the interior humming of the TARDIS. I have an hour long cd with the humming noise looped. It helps me sleep, but I haven't had a working cd player in a while so I haven't been able to pay it.

Just closing my eyes and living in my own fantasy world for a bit. It's really good for long train rides, when there's not much to do and when I just fancy escaping this world for a bit.

^I'm the same, although I can imagine things without closing my eyes.

Yes. What is that? I do realize it's got something to do with escaping such things as housework, deadlines and people I am forced to get along with, but it's something more as well.

Looking at pictures of gas stations I have visited in the past. That's probably the least weird of them all!

That is indeed....unique....to say the least! Lol!

We have a funky old fashioned 1930's style gas station in the old neighborhood I grew up in. Has a crude lift (not SO old style that it has a grease pit, but its still quaint). The guy who runs it is a funny old guy. Thats about the only gas station I can think of that I have ever felt affection for.

That's a whole category of meditation I also taught to my daughter. A variation on the classic, "go to your happy place". So incredibly relaxing...

OMG, yes! to all of them! Soccer is like watching ants accomplish some goal like tear down a bit of food and take it back to the next. Such an amazing mix of random and highly directed motion...

Leaves shaking in the wind. Ripples in grain fields.

:P

Depends on the shopping cart. The high end shopping carts they had at Target here were very relaxing to push. The wheels felt like they were gliding on air and the cart went where you pushed it. Now Walmart on the other hand have shopping carts from hell. Every cart has at least one broken wheel which pulls the cart to one side. The wheels sometimes are clogged so your shopping cart turns into a sled instead of a cart you have to push. The carts also rattle and look absolutely covered in filth.

I also like clicking pens, dragging my hands across satin sheets, popping bubblewrap(my favourite stim), and typing on laptop keyboards (I love the way they feel).
