Depends on the shopping cart. The high end shopping carts they had at Target here were very relaxing to push. The wheels felt like they were gliding on air and the cart went where you pushed it. Now Walmart on the other hand have shopping carts from hell. Every cart has at least one broken wheel which pulls the cart to one side. The wheels sometimes are clogged so your shopping cart turns into a sled instead of a cart you have to push. The carts also rattle and look absolutely covered in filth.

I also like clicking pens, dragging my hands across satin sheets, popping bubblewrap(my favourite stim), and typing on laptop keyboards (I love the way they feel).

i really love TV. sometimes it changes between movies or shows, but for 3 months at a time there will be a show or film that i watch every single night while i fall asleep--first it was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, then it was Jurassic Park, and now it's The Mummy (from 1999). i come home from work, eat dinner, tidy up the living room and set up to sleep and put on the same movie, starting it from the beginning. it's the best.

Well, I'm the kind of person who plays Take On Mars and I find driving a slow slow rover (0.5 m/s) across the barren surface of Mars doing science until the rover can go no further a very relaxing activity.

Also, in Space Engineers I find slowly constructing ships by hand to be more enjoyable then the combat, and I'm not saying that the combat is boring. It's just that building in that game is relaxing and I like to have it set to the slowest possible welding speed.

Oh yeah, and there is also listening to music while browsing a forum and maybe alt-tabbing to an animation project every few minutes to work on that. I spend a lot of time doing stuff like that.

mikeman7918, thank you. Your comment reminded me: welding and soldering can be incredibly relaxing, in part because you *must* slow down to move at their speed and be 100% focused.

Yeah I can relate to that....
Also following drawings to build things, its an engineering thing but the precision of it all really focuses the mind and gives me a relaxing kind of clarity and helps me calm tje mind

I gravitate toward the flowing rivers wherever I've lived, I particularly frolic toward them in stormy weather but I don't mind if it's sunny and I'm by a river hearing the static hiss and drone and curious splash debris thrown out, I also go into meadows, luckily I have three landscapes in different directions within three miles stroll at furthest point and can sit down and think within the waving fronds and intriguing drifting things that flow around me whilst in their soothing clutches and serene noise-reduced buffer zones! I also play pokémon too much on a loop because that pixel charming realm and the loyal companionship of the critters keeps me calm.

They are my favorite comfort food. I also feel the same way about macaroni and cheese and soups.
