I have long expected that I have aspergers. I have taken a few tests found online and they all suggest that I may. I don't really know where to go with this or even if I should do anything else. What steps if any should I consider? I don't really have money for doctors...

Depends where you live--in the United Kingdom you don't need money for a diagnosis.

But, in the USA, there are very few insurance plans that cover diagnosis for adults. It wouldn't hurt to check. In Connecticut, you can get a diagnosis not covered by insurance for about $1500.

You also have to ask yourself what you hope to get out of diagnosis. Schooling assistance? Self-understanding? Etc.. I think there can be some potential down-sides to claiming the label on official applications relating to... insurance? I can't remember.

Also it may be tougher to find a specialist who diagnoses adults.
