I think everything that's bad is worse when you're really tired.
When I was a kid and had really bad SPD I was more likely to meltdown when I was tired.
As for stimming, it's easy to see how one would need to do it more if they were tired.

I have noticed that my anxiety tends to act up more at night even when I'm not very tired, and when I'm anxious my autistic traits become more pronounced. Sometimes it gets really bad to the point where I have trouble speaking and I almost constantly rock back and fourth, but fortunately that doesn't happen often because it takes a lot of anxiety to get me to that point.

Opposite time for me, but otherwise the same.

Yes, times a thousand. It's not unusual for me to spend the entire night stimming and repeating words and phrases, which kinda sucks when you have to do something early in the morning or go to work.

I prefer nighttime over daytime. Less people around, less heat and sunlight to bother me, better shows on TV, the only real downside is that it can be hard to get anything productive done at night since many businesses close in the late afternoon/early evening.

My day/night cycle used to be so skewed towards nighttime that I (jokingly) considered myself a vampire, and I still sorta do. No joke, I'd actually start feeling tired when the sun came up, and start feeling more active once things got dark.
