The x files! Damn, I had to say it. Like I could find a nuts geek like me, not jusr a shipper, someone who actually knows the episodes (early seasons a +), huge adventure, that great ambiance/photography in Vancouver, how twisted funny it is, good characters including guests +++
Not finished renewing boxes, but I found a S3, dvds are brand new, for 7 bucks. Now I have S 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7 new boxes.

Please tell me that I am not the only one totally creeped out by Tooms and Deep Roy's squeaky cart wheels. *Shudders*

Not really, although there's something unsettling about Doug Hutchinson, not only as Tooms. Pfaster is creepy.

Paleoanthropology.

It is so amazing because:

Ancient hominids are our ancestors, our ancient grandparents.
We are them, through time.
we are all that is left of them, with some random genetic mutations.
With every generation, as populations grow, genes are mixed and re-combined and occasionally mutate.

Early hominids had no idea that one day, their descendants would dig up their fossilized remains and learn about them and reconstruct their physical likenesses.
It's like time is happening all at once and we are related through time and space.
But we are still here and I think our ancient grandparents would be proud of us.
But in a way, we are them.

I think humans have become like birds.
We walk on two legs like birds.
We are more graceful than other apes.
We make music and sing like birds.
And we have learned how to fly.

I wonder if early humans watched birds and wanted to fly and be like them.

Knowledge generally; I lose days at a time to wikis and inside baseball stuff about jobs I'll never do, industries I have no real interest in, oddball trivia, obscure skills, etc. I have a lot of sub-interests inside that category, notably weaponry, which I went to school for, and cooking, which I do for a living.

My special interest, which I have had since as long as I can remember, is hearts and heartbeats. Unfortunately, I am extremely embarrassed by it :( I also really like irregular beats.
