Accidentally putting your shoes on before your pants, putting conditioner on your hair before shampoo, driving to school without your backpack... :) Are these things related to aspergers or am I just a ridiculous human? (I mean, I am a ridiculous human, but still)

I think it's just a ridiculous human thing. Everybody I know seems to have done stuff like this from time to time.

I do stuff like that frequently. It usually happens when I'm deep in thought about something.

It could be an aspie thing. If you're totally preoccupied by your special interests, it can make it harder to do simple tasks.

This is it right here! Sometimes I am too over-analytical or I have like a million thoughts going through my head that distract me to the point where I misplace things, do things backwards, not quite ADD or ADHD because the fragments are during stimming or analyzing the things being said to me in the exact moment vs a meandering mind/simply not paying attention.

I have a hard time getting dressed for school. Put things on in wrong order and or inside out. Forget to put stuff in backpack. I either get helped with getting ready or at least inspected before going to school. Other stuff like that.

I laughed when I saw your post! Yes, I am like that too.

Often I have to go start another shower and get back in - forgot to rinse my hair or something. I have trouble getting things on front in the front. I always seek the tag, which usually signals the back of a garment.

Last week I went to a gathering and was extremely careful the day before to have my clothes chosen and lined up with the front in the front. I showed up looking great - except that I had platform sandals on my bare feet (at the end of October).

getting your pants off before the shoes, a stupid thing to do when in a hurry, you'll end up screaming with shoes and pants stuck in each other

a few weeks ago i was working in the back yard in shorts and riding boots and then afterward i needed to go to the shop, so i went to put my jeans on.
i realized that it may be quite a difficult task soon after to get my shoes through the legs of the jeans, but i forced my feet through the legs with all my might and i eventually became wedged about 3/4 of the way down.

i realized that i would have to take my jeans off again and remove my shoes, but i could not get them off. my legs were stuck in the bloody things. i was locked into the decision to have to cut the jeans off.
i jumped around looking for scissors and i could not find any so i thought "there's no way i can jump into the supermarket in this condition" so i cut them off with a steak knife.

Maybe if you did this all the time, then you would have a problem but doing this sometimes or once in a while is normal I would say. Everyone does this. If you do this often while under stress or pregnant, I would say it's normal, especially if you had lot of things on your mind due to things happening all at once in your life.
