I should add that I did have to attend a PIP assessment on the first occasion when I made a claim. Subsequently I was deemed to be ineligible for the benefit.
The assessor to whom I spoke asked me general questions about my life, how my condition affected me and some rather random mathematic questions, too. Whilst I never feel comfortable lying, I may have been too honest when I had my assessment. I always worry that I am committing benefit fraud, and I tend to externalise that thought to civil servants, doctors and psychiatrists.
