Does this happen to anyone else or is it just me ? Let me start off by saying I rarely ever have a panic attack while I'm awake ,but usually at least once a week I have atleast one while I'm sleeping and wake up to it. It doesn't seem to matter how calm I am before I go to sleep or anything like that. I guess what I am asking is if anyone has had experience with it and is there a way to make it stop?

I don't know if it counts as a panic attack, but often I wake up suddenly, with a feeling that I'm falling and I can't calm myself for a long period.

Maybe lookup PTSD? I suspect many people on the spectrum have some aspects of this. If you're very sensitive (imo most aspies etc are in many respects) the traumas could be something NTs would consider "normal".
