Why do People who have AS think I'm mad?

I've noticed this alot not from here I have met people from time to time who have AS diagnosed, and they all say that I am mad somehow they find I have it from someone else when at school it was obvious as I was in a unit but in later life it is usually someone like example my boss or something.

They find out I have it so me acting like NT goes right out the window and as they get to know me they start thinking that I am mad. Alright I know I can get hyper at times but I can't help that. Even at school in the unit which was called CDP (Communication Disorder Provision) horrible name for a unit even they thought I was mad I left a year early in year 10 and they said the unit classroom was boring after I left and that lessons were entertaining when I was in there

Don't know whether people think I'm mad here or is that a stupid thing to say

I'm confused. Who thinks you're mad? And, do you have AS or do they or both? And by mad, do you mean angry or crazy?

I dunno....probably because the first thing NT people notice with AS people is eccentricity.

What I'm saying is AS people think I'm mad I do crazy things.

Eh....craziness amuses me so....
