I would say that I am completely random in both how I act and what I say. Completely and totally unpredictable in fact. Perhaps this is a characteristic of Autism and related somehow to ADHD - attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.

There seem to be several maladies that go hand-in-hand with Autism like OCD and ADHD etc etc. Perhaps it is simply the childlike characteristic that we all have in common. This randomness appears to be another fundamental aspect of ASD and worth further study.

I'm autistic, but not random at all. People don't seem to react well to my spontaneous expression of thoughts or feelings, such as when I was in school, or at work, or when I'm out shopping in supermarkets  So I'm very thought-out and deliberate in what I say and do. Not so fun, but I haven't come up with a better alternative.

I wouldn't say random

My brain just connects 2 unrelated things and I go off topic .I confuse my family quite a bit when I randomly talk about the days events
Just not random

Sometimes I walk in the rain without an umbrella or raincoat just to feel the rain on my skin.

Depends on my mood... If I'm being cheerful, hyper, and bored enough, then I would be truly be random and spontaneous.

And connecting things or taking things out of relevant context is rather often no matter what mood I'm into, even if I deem it as logical, even if I gave it a hard and serious thought, it's mistaking it for being random or being stupid because:
A. Wrong context,
B. Wrong timing, and
C. I don't really have enough clues, so I have to 'gamble' that could lead to A and/or B. :|
Or D. Just stop whatever it is as a last resort. Maybe restart from the beginning.

I definitely have random thoughts but rarely voice them

I'd say I'm fairly predictable.

Like staying up well past the time I should be in bed. Such as now.

I wouldn't say I'm especially random, but my mind tends to make connections that seem random to other people even if it makes sense to me.

I am not random cause /random wasn't found on my filesystem but do have /dev/random installed.

I like to think I'm not extraordinarily random, but I do find myself saying random things once in a while. A lot of the time, they're not even directly related to the subject at hand - I hear a word and just think of a concept/story based off of it.

Do I think I'm random? Never. Do other people perceive me as random because they can't follow my zigzagged associative thinking? Almost all the time. Like anytime I talk without having a planned out speech with notes to follow.
