I actually really like driving. I'm not talking about the morning commute, no one likes that. I like to drive at night with all the windows down. I usually have a specific route that I'll stick to for a while so I don't have to think much about where I am or getting lost. I turn my stereo on and just completely focus on the driving. It's almost like a form of meditation for me. It's one of the few times I can actually get myself to cry and get emotion out if I'm upset.

When I was learning to drive ten years ago, I really began to like it once I found out I could do it. I need to take it up again and work on getting my license.

I like to drive. And I'm a better driver than my husband. ;)

Yeah I like driving fast. Did a skid control course yesterday at silverstone they have a mechanical device with small wheels as an exo-skeleton to the car (just an Audi nothing exciting). It takes some pressure off the cars own wheels and thereby simulates a slippery surface.

I like to drive too...my friend lives an hour away and I love getting ready for these mini-trips...bringing my music, bringing snacks for the road, etc.

Although that being said tomorrow at 9 AM I have a 5 day drive from coast to coast and I'm sure I'll be proper sick of it by then

I love driving. Except in the city, in heavy traffic. But highway driving is wondeful.

I should say that I don't like driving when someone else is in the car with me though. I'm so used to driving alone and being able to just concentrate on driving that I tend to get overloaded when there's another person in the car with me who I have to pay attention to. I start missing turns and getting stuck behind slow people because I'm not paying enough attention to the driving.

I have yet to drive. But I'm going to be taking classes soon, and I will most likely hate it.

I used to go for 1-2 hour drives a couple times a week through the backroads in CT. This is one of the things that bothers me the most about Philly. Nothing but traffic wherever I go.

When it is fairly stress free, I like it! I like it best when I have time, traffic moves fine, and people appear courteous.

Not where I am it's not. A 2-hour trip to NJ can easily run into 4 hours or more if you don't time it right. Even local jaunts are really trafficky here. And drivers are anything but courteous.
