I find most shows to not be relatable as they are often about rich people with perfect lives. I find shows like Roseanne and Malcolm in the Middle to be more relatable because they are about working class families with real life problems. The families on these shows don't really fit in anywhere and they get screwed over a lot. What shows do you all find to be relatable?

The Stargate franchise.

Seriously!

I can relate more to any television series that features military members as real people, even if the situations they get into are mere fantasies.

JAG was kind of interesting. Part soap opera, part legal drama, with history lessons dropped in. If you want military.

It is kind of a pity that they dropped the revived Roseanne. Was starting to warm up to it.

"the Middle" (not to be confused with "Malcolm in the Middle" mentioned above) is a pretty good sitcom, and even has an aspie character( the little boy named Brick is not Id'd as such, but obviously is aspie).

"The Sopranos" because of the relationships with coworkers and family.

"Blue Bloods" seems to have the same 'vibe' to it.

The Middle seemed to kitchy and canned. Frankie, Sue and Brick were annoying AF.

Liked JAG and NCIS.

Two Broke Girls and Roseanne.

JAG and NCIS are good. I love Two Broke Girls. Max and Caroline are so loyal to each other and the characters on the show.

Seinfeld. Love it. Thankfully my wife does too so we never tire of relating things to and quoting from the show.

One reason I think I like it so much: The characters are often overly animated with their emotions and gestures (for comedic effect). I can understand that so much better and I can "get" the humor. I find the show very funny and entertaining.

I like "Good Times", "Roseanne", and "The Big Bang Theory"----even "The Carol Burnett Show", I can relate to, as she often plays characters that are just sooooo the "fish-outta-water" kind of people.

I'd add the short lived series Crowded to this list. It was a couple millennials living with their parents which is pretty common nowadays, especially among those of us on the spectrum. Also the character Shea was pretty geeky & kind of Aspieish
